Earlier this year I had the opportunity to collaborate with the beautiful Lauren Solorzano and Sin & Skin Clothing! We had an amazing time and got some awesome images that Sin & Skin Clothing used on their website and Instagram account. Lauren and I always work so well together! We have a great chemistry and can really get some kick ass imagery!
Last week I had the pleasure of meeting with these fine gentlemen to photograph their amazing facial hair for a Lumberjack series, since the show Timber is coming to town in November. I am trying new things and playing a little bit more with shadows and less light. I enjoyed photographing these guys so much!! Here are my favorite photos from that shoot! Enjoy!
I’ve been playing around with retouching and different forms of light for a while. For this particular shoot I wanted to go back to the 90’s (my favorite decade) and play around with the fashion from that time. It ended up being Hip Hop with a touch of darkness brought in by the model’s apparel. I was really happy with the result. Here are some of my favorite images. In the last one you’ll see my attempt at adding some design elements to the imagery. Something I’m still working on.
Happy New Year, kids! As always, it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything….and to be honest, I just think that I was at a crossroads in trying to decide what to do with this blog….. After much thought and consideration, I’ve decided to not only post about my adventures in Photography, but to try and make it more interesting by adding elements of design, my own and things I find out there in designland. I want to share what I find what captures my attention in both photography and graphic design. So here we go!! A new year, a new attempt at blogging everyday (yeah, right!) and a new direction and purpose! Hope you guys join me on this new adventure!!
I recently got to hang out with some rad people in an abandoned hospital in Gary, IN. It was super fun to be able to hang with them and shoot some photos in the process. I ended up doing analog instead of digital but prior to that, I did take some digital images. Here are my favorites. Model: Amber Olsen Hair/Makeup: Amber Olsen Styling: Che Correa
